COACHING = CLASSROOM

Dylan Wiliam. Robert Marzano. John Wooden. Bill Belichick. Superficially these thought leaders may appear to have nothing in common, but the truth is all of them place an emphasis on using data to drive instruction and believe in the power of frequent formative assessment and authentically constructed learning experiences.

Educated Consulting wants to work with your teacher coaches to help them realise that the best practice approaches and structures that they utilize in their classroom are the same approaches they should be using on the field or in the gym.

A coaching PD session with Educated Consulting will guide your coaches through a UBD & "Big 3" questions approach to designing a practice plan and provide your coaches with frameworks and perspectives that will allow them to realize that their classroom practice must inform their coaching practice.

Non-teacher coaches will especially benefit from an Educated Consulting experience as they will be educated in best practice approaches to teaching, learning and skill acquisition.

Our PD with your coaches will focus on the following Big Three Questions:

(1) what do I want my athletes to be able to know and do?

(2) How do I know if they know and can do these things?

(3) What do I do if they don't?
